We would like to invite you to the Iron-based Superconductors: Advances towards Applications (IBS2app 2027), which will be held in Beijing, China, from May 12th to 14th, 2027.

This event is the third international workshop dedicated to iron-based superconductors, following the first workshop in Santa Margherita, Italy, in 2020 and the second one in Miyazaki, Japan, in 2025.

As the field of iron-based superconductivity approaches its 20th anniversary, IBS2app 2027 will provide a timely opportunity for the community to come together, review the progress made over the past two decades, exchange new results and ideas, and discuss future directions for research and development. The workshop will cover a wide range of research topics, including fundamentals, materials, devices, and applications of iron-based superconductors and related materials.

Beijing, the capital of China, is a city where more than 3,000 years of history coexist with modern science and innovation. It is home to many of China's leading universities and national research institutes, making it one of the country's most important centers for higher education, scientific research, and international academic exchange. The city also offers a rich cultural heritage, with renowned landmarks such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace.

We hope that IBS2app 2027 will provide not only a stimulating scientific program, but also an enjoyable opportunity for participants to meet colleagues, exchange ideas, and experience the unique combination of history, culture, and modern development of China.
