Visa Application
Foreign participants traveling to China may be required to obtain a Chinese visa before departure, depending on their nationality, passport type, purpose of visit, and length of stay.
Visa-Free Entry
China currently offers visa-free entry to citizens of a number of countries for short-term visits, including visits for business and exchange purposes. Eligible travelers holding valid ordinary passports may enter China without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days.
As visa policies may be updated from time to time, participants are strongly advised to check the latest entry requirements applicable to their nationality before making travel arrangements.
Applying for a Chinese Visa
Participants who are not eligible for visa-free entry should apply for an appropriate Chinese visa in advance through the Chinese Embassy or Consulate, or a Chinese Visa Application Service Center, in their country or region of residence.
Depending on individual circumstances and local consular requirements, applicants may be asked to provide supporting documents related to their visit to China.
Invitation Letter
Registered participants who require an invitation letter for their visa application may request one from the Conference Secretariat.
Please note that the invitation letter is intended to support a visa application only. The issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Chinese diplomatic or consular authorities, and the Conference Organizers cannot guarantee the approval of any visa application.
Participants are encouraged to start their visa application process well in advance of their planned departure.
Further Information
Visa and entry requirements may vary according to nationality and individual circumstances. Participants should consult the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence or the official Chinese Visa Application Service Center for the most up-to-date information before traveling.
